3/1/10 Its time for the NEW Spring Release from Disney Fine Art, be sure to keep watching as the email blast will go out in the next week or so. We are off the the Disney Fine Art Studios to see all that there is and more. An exciting event is planned and prep for all the Disney Artists in 2010. NOTE: be sure to be aware of the shortened hours this week thru the 8th of March. Closed Sunday and Mondays, T-Sat 12-6pm. March 9th we return to normal hours!

These are the same items that will be at the Arizona Museum of Art next month, We are fortunate to be able to have them here for the remainder of this month. 2/3/10 The Chuck Jones Event is this weekend and it is going to be a great event and very informative on the life of Chuck. This is the 1st of our gallery education series of Artists and there is more to come. Those invited to the cocktail party that have not responded, we have about 5 opening left for those that would like to attend and see the special art that awaits. We are introducing our newest member of the Disney Fine Art Portfolio, Katie Kelly. Katie has a whimsical way of doing art and very fun. She expresses herself through her art and it is fun and happy.

12/17/09 We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Roy Disney, The end of a legacy. Our condolences to out to the entire Disney Family. Here is an article about the wonderful man. http://bit.ly/7LF3UD. Disney Parks cast members and fans worldwide are mourning the loss of Roy E. Disney. He was a Disney Legend who played an important role in many of our lives. Our Animation Collecting Industry was formally started by Roy as well as director of the Walt Disney Classic Society. Thank you for your contribution Roy, you will be missed.
12/8/09 The Biggest show of the year turned out to be just that.. Thank you all who came to our Friday private party and Saturday event. The turn-out was outstanding. Those who attended the evening private party we treated to a surprise by Paige, who actually got up and sang….WOW, we learned all about the Making of Beauty and The Beast, Paige’s voice over work and much more. Toby told us about his creation of An Enchanted Evening and we introduced “Winter Wonderland”. The 2009 Holiday print for this year. It was a fantastic night and once again an evening NOT TO HAVE BEEN MISSED. Be sure to get in here and see great art by Paige O’Hara and Toby Bluth & the Amazing Originals Left. 9/17/09 We are back from D23 and so proud of Tim Rogerson’s marquee piece for D23. The reception to his artwork was astounding! Disney purchased the original painting for their archive collection. The black and white study was bid on furiously at the Disney auction and finally sold to a lucky collector for over $5,000 at the Disney D23 auction evening auction. Not to mention the Peter Pan ride car that went for 35,000.00 glad to hear we are in a recession and no one is spending money, and lets not forget the Walt Disney Signed Check that sold for 7000.00. 9/5/09 The Walt Disney Classics Collection is pleased to celebrate the return of hand-drawn animation and the historic debut of a new Disney Princess with a beautiful sculpture, Tiana (”Wishing on the Evening Star”) as portrayed in Disney’s upcoming feature film, The Princess and the Frog.
The Princess and the Frog film is scheduled to open on November 25, 2009 in New York and Los Angeles and nationwide on December 11, 2009. Authorized Walt Disney Classics Collection retailers will be able to order this sculpture when the fourth quarter releases are announced in the next two weeks and it will begin shipping to retailers in late October.
